Neehari Global Limited visa services from Nairobi - Study Abroad Placement

Study Abroad Placement in Nairobi

Studying abroad starts long before the visa. The hard part is choosing the right country, the right institution and a course that actually leads somewhere - and then getting admitted. We guide Kenyan students through the whole placement: shortlisting schools, preparing the application and securing an offer. We work directly with partner institutions abroad, so you are not applying blind. Once you hold an admission letter, the student visa is the next step, and we handle that too.

Who this service is for

We handle study abroad placement for a wide range of travellers, and the right approach differs considerably between them. A salaried employee with a five-year employment history and a self-employed trader with no payslips need entirely different files, even for the same destination on the same dates. If you recognise yourself below, we have done this many times before.

How long it takes

Placements run to the institution's intake calendar, not yours, so start early - four to eight months ahead of the intake is comfortable for most destinations. Admission decisions can take a few weeks, and the student visa that follows needs its own lead time on top.

The binding constraint here is the application window, not any queue on our side. Miss an intake and you usually wait a full semester or year for the next one. We work backwards from the intake date you are aiming for and tell you the earliest task on the list.

How we handle your application

  1. Free consultation. We talk through your goals, grades and budget, and narrow the field to countries and courses that genuinely fit rather than the ones in the adverts.
  2. School shortlist. You get a shortlist of institutions - including partner schools such as Grandsud Tourism School - with entry requirements, fees and intake dates set out plainly.
  3. Application and admission. We prepare your application, statement and supporting documents, submit to your chosen schools, and follow up until you have an offer.
  4. Offer and enrolment. We help you compare offers, accept the right one, and complete enrolment and any deposit the school requires.
  5. Student visa. With the admission letter in hand we move to the visa - see our student visa service for the documents and timeline that follow.

Our partner school: Grandsud Tourism School

For students set on a career in travel, tourism or hospitality, we work directly with Grandsud Tourism School, which has campuses in Dubai and France. A direct relationship with the school means your application is not disappearing into an anonymous pile - you get straight answers on entry requirements, fees and intakes before you commit, and we prepare the matching student visa once you are admitted. Talk to us for the current programme details and intake dates for the Dubai and France campuses.

Where you can study

We place students across the major English-speaking destinations and, through our partner school, into tourism and hospitality programmes in Dubai and France. These are the destinations we work with most:

What the mission is actually deciding

The single biggest mistake Kenyan students make with studying abroad is treating it as a visa problem when it is first an admissions problem. The visa follows the offer, and the offer follows a well-chosen, well-prepared application. Choosing the country and course is where most of the value sits: a programme that fits your grades, your budget and where you want to end up is easier to get into, easier to fund, and far easier to defend at the visa stage. This is also where a partner school earns its place - a direct relationship with an institution such as Grandsud Tourism School means your application is not disappearing into an anonymous pile, and you get straight answers on entry requirements, fees and intakes before you commit to anything.

After the decision

An admission letter is the beginning of the visa stage, not the end of the process. Deposits, enrolment confirmations and proof of funds all have to line up with what the mission expects, and the strongest study-abroad plans keep the visa requirements in view from the first school choice rather than discovering them after the offer arrives.

Why applying from Nairobi is different

Most of the guidance you will find online about study abroad was written for applicants in Europe or North America, and it quietly assumes things that are not true here. It assumes appointment slots are available within days. It assumes a salaried applicant with a payslip. It assumes a long personal travel history already sitting in the passport. For a great many Kenyan applicants none of those hold, and a file built on that advice will be missing exactly the evidence a consular officer covering this region is looking for.

What actually works from Nairobi is documenting the things that are true about your life rather than mimicking a template: a business rather than an employer, family and property here rather than a long stamp collection, regional travel history rather than European. We build files around that, and we do it for clients across the city - from Westlands to Nairobi CBD and Parklands.

Is this the right category for your trip?

Placement and the student visa are two different stages. This service secures a school and an admission offer; processing the student visa that follows is a separate service. Most students need both, and doing the placement well makes the visa stage far smoother.

What you pay, and what it covers

There are two separate costs in any visa application and it is worth keeping them apart. The first is the mission's own visa fee, plus any visa centre service charge and optional priority fee. That money goes to them, is set by them, changes periodically, and is not refundable if the application is refused. The second is our consultancy fee, which covers the consultation, the tailored checklist, document review, form completion, appointment booking and tracking of the file through to decision.

We quote both in writing before you commit to anything, and the initial consultation is free. We do not take a percentage of anything, we do not mark up the mission's fees, and we do not charge a success fee - a fee structure that rewards us for a decision we do not control would not be honest. If your case is one where you genuinely do not need us, we will say so.

Study Abroad clients across Nairobi

We handle study abroad applications for clients right across the city. A large share of this work comes from Westlands, where westlands generates a particular mix of applications: business visas for the professional services firms and tech companies clustered around chiromo and waiyaki way, sche. We also see steady demand from clients in Nairobi CBD, and from Parklands and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Wherever you are in Nairobi, most of the process runs over email and WhatsApp - you only need to attend the visa centre in person for biometrics.

Frequently asked questions

Do you place students, or only handle visas?

Both, as two stages. This service is the placement - choosing schools, applying and getting you an offer. The student visa that follows is a separate step we also handle.

What is Grandsud Tourism School?

It is a tourism and hospitality school we partner with, with campuses in Dubai and France. It is a strong route for students set on a career in travel, tourism or hospitality. Ask us for the current programme details and intake dates.

Which countries can I study in?

We work most with the UK, Canada, the USA, Australia and Ireland, plus Dubai and France through our partner school. If you have a specific country in mind, ask - we will tell you honestly whether it is a good fit.

How much does studying abroad cost?

It varies enormously by country and course. We give you fees and living-cost estimates for your shortlist up front, so there are no surprises before you apply.

Can you help if my grades are average?

Often, yes. Different institutions set different entry bars, and foundation or pathway programmes exist for exactly this. We match you to schools where you have a realistic chance.

Is a partner school better than applying directly?

It removes a lot of guesswork - accurate requirements, faster responses, and a clear picture of intakes and fees. You can still apply elsewhere in parallel.

Do I need to know exactly what to study?

No. Part of the consultation is narrowing that down against your grades, budget and goals. Coming in undecided is completely normal.

Can I work while studying?

Many destinations allow limited part-time work during term, with strict hour caps. Treat it as a supplement, never as part of your proof of funds.

What we commit to

Local SEO copy is cheap and promises are cheaper, so here is what we will actually hold ourselves to. We quote our fee and the mission's separate fees in writing before you pay anything, and the first consultation costs nothing. We do not guarantee approvals, because the decision belongs to a consular officer and no consultant controls it - anyone in Nairobi telling you otherwise is either selling something or planning to blame the embassy later.

We will not produce documents on your behalf, invent employment, or supply an insurance certificate that does not correspond to a real policy. Those are the fastest routes to a deception finding and a multi-year ban, and they end careers as well as trips. If we think your case is straightforward enough to file yourself, we will say so and charge you for the review rather than the full service. And if we think a deadline genuinely cannot be met, you will hear that on the first call rather than the week before you fly.
